Meet The Team
- Karl HomolaPresident
Karl started Atlas Plumbing in 2005. He has worked in construction since 1995, and found his passion in plumbing. Karl has been a journeyman since 2001 and has seen all types of construction. His drive and hard work continue to serve him well as his company is being molded into the dream he set out to realize.
- Sarah HomolaChief Financial Officer
Sarah Homola has worked as the CFO at Atlas since 2005. She is accountable for all of our financial operations of the company. Her duties consist of budget management, forecasting needs, securing funding, financial planning, and record-keeping. Sarah also participates in key decisions for the future of the company.
- Matt BrightProject Manager
Matt Bright began his relationship with Atlas Plumbing in 2010, as a lead foreman. He has worn many hats during his tenure with Atlas. Matt is a journeyman plumber, and his time in the field allows communication between general contractors and Atlas employees to be seamless. Matt also heads up all of our design build efforts.
- Jaren KoistinenSenior Estimator
Jaren started with Atlas Plumbing Contractors in the spring of 2013 as a plumber trainee. In the spring of 2014 he was moved into the office to help out with the estimating. He works closely to calculate the costs associated with the project. Jaren’s time in the field allows him to facilitate the communication between the field employees, and the office.
- Darrin StewartProject Manager
Darrin Stewart started plumbing in 2003. He has been a journeyman plumber since 2007. Since then he has acted as a supervisor for six years, and an estimator for one year, before he was hired on as a Project Manager at Atlas Plumbing Contractors in November of 2015. Darrin works hard to plan, budget, and oversee all of his projects, in order to make them run smoothly. Darrin possesses great leadership and problem solving skills which makes him a perfect fit for the project managing position.
- Andrew GaylorProject Manager
Andrew is a dual card journeyman and has worked at Atlas plumbing since 2012. He has experience in the field as a foreman running some of the company’s largest multi-family projects in Portland and Vancouver. In early 2021 he transitioned to the office to take on a new challenge as Project Manager. His experience in the field, great leadership skills, and relationships with key builders make him a perfect fit in his new position.
- Tim SchlechtProject Manager
Tim Schlecht is a project manager at Atlas Plumbing. His 14 years of plumbing experience has enabled him to implement his knowledge, to make his projects run smoothly. Tim excels at planning and defining the scope of work, developing budgets and schedules, communicating with the foreman on the project, and executing the closure of projects.
- Benji BrodersonBIM Coordinator
Benji started in the office in October 2020 and was added to Atlas’ growing BIM team.
Benji holds a journeyman plumbers’ card and his vast knowledge of plumbing systems and overseeing projects in the field ensure that the prefabrication process to field run smoothly.
- Beverly PattersonBIM Coordinator
Beverly works as our BIM coordinator implementing and designing building information models. She has over 20 years of experience in the engineering field which includes a vast history in drafting and Revit. Beverly has worked in several disciplines including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical. She has also worked for consulting engineers, design build contractors, and the federal government.
- Riley StapletonShop Manager
Riley works as the shop manager for Atlas Plumbing. He has experience in several different types of welding including aluminum, steel, and stainless. Riley has experience in many areas including mechanic work ranging from heavy equipment to small gas engines, laying pipe, equipment operating, electrical, and hydraulics which makes him the perfect fit for the shop manager position.
- Lisa TapaniProject Engineer
Lisa started with Atlas Plumbing Contractors in June of 2017. She helps assist the project managers to ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and within project specifications. Lisa is very skilled in bridging the boundaries between project management and the technical side of construction.
- Brittany HardsOffice Manager
Brittany is the perfect fit for Atlas Plumbing as the Office Manager. She has a Bachelors Degree from Washington State University in Human Resource Management and minors in Psychology and Business Administration. Brittany is also a Certified Professional in Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP). She handles a number of areas and tasks simultaneously and her 5+ years of experience in Human Resources and 4+ years in construction make her an excellent fit for the team.
- Jarrett HalmeProject EngineerJarrett started with Atlas in September of 2018. In 2020 he was transitioned intoThe office to assist the Project Managers. He is involved in our projects fromdesign all the way through completion. His experience in the field, problemSolving abilities, and his ability to streamline processes make him a great fit to the Team.

The success of our company depends on a team effort. Our relationship may start in the office, but the relationship between our employees and the general contractor in the field cements our working relationship. Attention to detail and working as a team allows us to be successful on current and future projects. Field employees are the backbone of the company. Their hard work and skilled craftsmanship helped shape Atlas Plumbing into the successful subcontractor it is today.
